What an honor!
Exhibiting with Daniel Novela is such an honor.
My first memories of this humble guy:
I moved to Klerksdorp in 1997 and I always saw this guy sitting with his beautiful small paintings, displayed on the paving in front of the Game shop.
Needless to say, I followed his career with fascination and he is such an example for me as an artist.
He kept on going forward and growing better and better over the years until he is an established artist and well-known worldwide.
Even auction houses like Stephan Welz sell his work from time to time.
Due to a lack of images, I “borrowed” some images from Robertson Art Gallery

A humble beginning:
Even at the beginning of his career, his work was spontaneous and Daniel was already good with capturing a special atmosphere.
A friend shared these two photos with me that she bought from Daniel in 1999.
Thank you to the Potchefstroom museum for this opportunity and especially Bongumusa who is the curator of the museum for all your hard work.
A sneak preview of my part of the exhibition:
